Amid the constellation of starry things that are Janelle Schneider, there are two that shine brightest for me. One is her gentle, compassionate honesty. The other is the fact that she lives the authentic life she longs for all of us to discover in ourselves.
Janelle Schneider is a skilled and kind listener, as well as a gifted and compelling teacher. I have experienced Janelle as spiritual director, supervision facilitator for myself as a spiritual director, and workshop facilitator; in all, I found Janelle to be not only professional and competent, but honest and warm as well. She delivers teaching with clarity and any feedback and reflection with discernment and, at times, startling poignancy. Her sense of humour brings a lightness when necessary and her capacity to hold the container for deep experiences and emotions is profound. What I enjoyed most about interacting with Janelle was her candor. She has a way of being completely frank with obvious love, which showed me her respect and revealed her commitment to doing authentic work with me.
