Blessed are you who have suffered because those closest to you refused to see the radiance of who you are.
Blessed are you who understand that family is as much those we choose as those who share our DNA.
Blessed are you who have created family from pieces of your broken heart, to include any and all who bring their own pieces to share.
Blessed are you who remind us every year of the joy found in rainbows, unicorns, and flower boas.
Blessed are you who silently weep, concealing your truth because, for you, it isn’t safe to let it be seen.
Blessed are you who wonder if there will ever be a place that says “welcome” to you, where your full self will be seen, and known, and cherished.
Blessed are you who truly know that love is love.
